Hello, my name is Vanessa Ramzieh (Chouman) and I am a Professional Body Painter based in Boston, Massachusetts. I graduated from college in 2013 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts concentrating in both performance and stage makeup. Throughout high school I had a strong passion for design. In college I decided to embrace this passion, intertwining it with my love for acting and theatre. I began by assisting with hair and makeup for local theatre's, and eventually progressed to designing productions of my own for professional theatre's.

         My senior year of college I was nominated to compete in The American College Theatre Festival in which I won second place under "Allied Craft" for the production of Cabaret, with my Hair and Makeup Design. College was a wonderful experience that further assured me of my endeavor to follow my passions and obtain a career in theatre arts. Since graduating I have returned to the university to teach courses on hair and makeup to incoming freshman. Additionally I've worked on minor independent films as a hair and makeup artist, I have taught a variety of stage makeup classes to kids/teens, taught myself body painting and am exploring other avenues that will lead me to the future in this industry that I so desire. 

       My art was previously seen on the 2017 tour with the duo band, Twenty One Pilots. I have also been noticed by artists such as : Jon Bellion, Vesperteen, Travis Mendez, B Keyz, Mutemath, Quinn XCII, Armors, Logic, Foster the People, Jaden Smith and more. I am currently working with brands like Morphe, Colourpop, TTD Eye, Pixi Beauty and many more. 

        I currently share all my artwork online on my social media platforms while focusing on my career in the music industry. I have been able to obtain a generous following on my Instagram with my body paint, that I hope will continue to grow and spread onto my other platforms.​
